- Objectives
To promote the use of digital technology in the support activities of own organizations, participants are expected to deepen their understanding of examples of digital kaizen promotion at manufacturing sites, learn practical methods, and recognize the necessary initiatives to promote sophisticated and smart manufacturing in SMEs. And to promote the improvement of the competitiveness and productivity of SMEs in own countries. - For What?
Industry 4.0, a strategy for sophistication of industry, calls for a reconsideration of the economic development model based on low-cost and mass production, and the sophistication and smartening of manufacturing industries through the introduction of new technologies particularly in developing countries. To ensure that the manufacturing sector is not left behind in the future under such circumstances, developing countries are focusing on improving the competitiveness and productivity of their manufacturing industries, and kaizen initiatives are an effective way to achieve this. However, SMEs in developing countries still incorporate traditional manual kaizen activities and have a low understanding of the importance and effectiveness of information digitization and data utilization. In order to lay the foundations for the transition to sophisticated and smarter manufacturing, SMEs need to be aware of the effectiveness of digitalizing kaizen. - To Whom?

Orientações gerais
A instituição interessada em indicar candidatos para o curso da JICA devem encaminhar uma cópia do “Application Form” datada e assinada para jicabr-training@jica.go.jp
- Ler o Informativo do curso e providenciar os documentos como: “Inception Report”, “Organization Chart” e “Questionnaire” (caso solicitado no informativo do curso);
- Preencher o “Application Form” com endereço completo incluindo o CEP, preencher o “Official Application” com a assinatura da Instituição (pessoa autorizada a permitirá a saída para o Japão);
- Anexar ao “Application Form”: a) “Inception Report”, “Organization Chart” e “Questionnaire” se solicitado no informativo do curso; b) Diploma de graduação do curso de nível superior; c) Teste de Proficiência do Inglês em inglês (somente para os cursos realizados em inglês); d) Copia do passaporte (com prazo de vencimento mais de 6 meses); e) Cópia do Visto Americano, caso possua (não é obrigatório).
Obs.: O nome do candidato deve estar de acordo com o nome no passaporte.
